This plant is native to southeastern Africa in Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. Large thick stems with thorn-like leaves branch to form a semi-upright mat. Stems can have a velvet-like texture. Incredible range of purple to green colors and an even more impressive flower! Large with a yellow/maroon pattern.
